Alewife is proud to participate in Richmond Restaurant Week 2019, October 21st-Oct 26th.
We will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $29.19 per person, with $4.19 of every meal purchased going to FeedMore to help fight hunger in our region.
Please note: this will be the only menu we will be offering for the week.
FIRST
Pumpkin soup with pumpkin seed oil & pumpkin seed granola
Fried oysters with hot sauce aioli & pickled shallot
Beet salad with fermented raspberry, candied peanut & goat cheese
Chilled shrimp escabeche with cilantro oil & puffed rice
Smoked fish dip on house bread with pickles & herb salad
SECOND
Scallop with roasted carrots, cauliflower & carrot miso butter
Steak with fingerlings, cipollini onions, kale & steak sauce
Pork with sweet potato puree, braised greens & pickled apples
Mackerel with Chinese broccoli, MS rice & Szechuan peanuts
Congee with raw, grilled & pickled vegetables
THIRD
Roasted butternut with salted caramel, graham crumble & toasted meringue
Chocolate pound cake with peanut butter mousse & ganache
Sundae with chocolate & sweet cream ice cream with caramelized banana, almond brittle & cherry
